“iPhone” a brand in itself, requires no introduction in global market. It provides it users the product and services of six sigma or ultra-uber level. Despite of cutthroat competition IPhone sat a benchmark in terms of demand and success. Initially applications developed for iPhone instruments were based on “Objective-C” language, but with introduction of “Swift” now it can be developed on both the platforms. Swift is more user friendly for both writing and reading and proved comparatively easier to understand than Objective-C.
Like any other application development procedure, there are some basic procedures to be followed to iPhone App Development instrument also.

a. What is the main purpose of this application?
b. What is needs and what are the queries this application is going to solve. ?
c. Which are the activities of the user covered by this application?
Solving these questions provides the requirements and the future of application to be developed.
2) Creating models and diagrams for user interface: - It provides developing team roughly an idea and the pattern to be followed to develop the application. It helps in designing the user interface for an application based of the defined objective and also enables the developers and designers to evaluate the cost for developing the application also.
3) Analysis and Planning: - Extensive research work is required of different market segments and based on the data, feedbacks and reviews; analysis is done to cover all the requirements and demands of the users. Planning is done for the configuration of back end structure keeping in mind the result of market analysis.

Best instant messenger apps for Android

4:54:00 AM     BBM, Facebook Messenger, Hangouts, Line, Skype, Tango, Viber     No comments

It's not all about WhatsApp you know, there are tons of instant messengers out there. We’ve rounded up ten of best the Android platform has to offer, along with screenshots and feature lists so you can best choose which one suits your individual tastes and needs. Here are the best instant messenger apps for Android.

Messenger: because everybody has Facebook

Facebook’s official instant messaging app has recently been made over to deliver a faster, cleaner service and interface. It’s much like WhatsApp (as are most of the apps on this list), but Messenger instantly connects to all of your Facebook contacts, making it one of the most convenient messaging apps if nothing else.

As of recently, however, you can also message non-Facebook friends by using their phone number. Messenger allows you to access all of your Facebook messages without using the main app or website. It’s also got stickers and emojis, groups, voice recordings, location data, free calls, photo sharing and more.

Skype: for video calls

The granddaddy of video calls, Skype has been around for forever and is still kicking strong. Skype is primarily used for calls, but the IM component is just as useful. In fact we use it at Android as our primary communication tool.

Skype requires Skype ID’s though, so you’ll only be able to add friends if you know their Skype contact name. But once you do, and basically everyone is on Skype too, you can have video chats anytime you want, for free. You can also add Skype credit and make cheap international calls to landlines and mobile phones.

The chat section offers group chat, media sharing, emojis and more. Plus you can have one account on several devices (something which WhatsApp doesn’t allow offer).

Hangouts: because it's Google

Google set up Hangouts as the standard (but interchangeable) messaging app in Android 4.4 KitKat, and thanks to this it picked up a lot more users. Hangouts is a combined SMS and IM app, that separates the two types of messages, but can be used to automatically place voice calls and video calls from your phone via Hangouts rather than traditional carriers.

Because it handles both SMS and IM, it cuts down on the number of apps you need to be working with, and its video calling quality is arguably better than Skype's. In addition, Hangouts integrates with Google+ in much the same way that Facebook Messenger interacts with Facebook, meaning contacts added via the social network can be called/messaged in the separate app. Be careful who you connect with if you're a particularly private person.

Viber: for sticker enthusiasts

Viber is really pushing the sticker market, where you can get tons of free and paid sticker packs, but the core business of Viber is instant messages. You can, of course, also send recorded voice messages like WhatsApp (but not video calls like Skype) and you now have the option to call any phone number anywhere with Viber Out – much like adding Skype credit to call people not on the service. Check out my tips and tricks for Viber article for more info.

Line: if you want the younger, cooler Skype

Line is becoming more and more popular, and for good reason. With the recently added video calling functionality, it is now as fully featured as Skype, but has a younger, sexier feel to it than the tried and true Skype. It’s jam packed full of stickers and other fun stuff, and is immensely popular throughout large parts of Asia. But it’s also feature filled with group chats, multi-platform capabilities (phone, tablet, PC), timeline, recorded voice messages, media sharing and much, much more, including official account messages from celebrities you like. Line is kind of like Twitter, Facebook and Skype all rolled into one.

BBM: for the important

After a substantial waiting period, BlackBerry's messaging service finally made it to the Android platform last year. BBM is not as Android as the rest of the apps on this list, but it does offer some very cool features including: always-on service (you don’t need to open the app to use it), timed and retractable messages, 2-way opt-in (nobody can message you until you specifically allow them), delivery reporting, groups, emoticons, broadcast messages and more. The ability to choose who can message you, rather than it being available to anybody with your number, makes this an attractive messaging option.

Apple to release iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus and 4-inch iPhone 6C in 2015

3:57:00 AM     iphone, iphone 6c, iphone 6s, iphone 6s plus, iPhone App Developers India     No comments

Apple will release three different iPhones in the second half of 2015, the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus and a 4-inch device currently being referred to as iPhone 6C.

According to the report, the flagship 6S and 6S Plus will contain next-generation A9 processors with the 6C taking on the current-gen A8 chip. All models are said to sport Corning Gorilla Glass (not sapphire crystal) as well as Touch ID and NFC hardware, presumably enabling Apple Pay.

There’s no mention of the ‘iPhone 6C’ taking on the polycarbonate body of the iPhone 5c but, given its “C” moniker, it seems logical for that to be the case if the rumors prove true.  Read More.....

WhatsApp voice calling feature: here’s how to get it enabled

10:27:00 PM     Android, whatsapp, whatsapp voice calling     No comments

WhatsApp has finally integrated voice call functionality into the world’s most popular instant messaging app. The WhatsApp call feature has finally been made available to anyone with the very latest version of the app. Be warned though that there is a new WhatsApp voice calling scam going around. Here's how to safely get WhatsApp voice calls on your phone.

How to enable Whats App voice calls

Important: Be warned that there is a new WhatsApp calling scam doing the rounds. Read up, be wary and spread the word.

The ability to activate voice calls on WhatsApp finally seems to be here for keeps. To get it, you need to update your WhatsApp app to at least v2.11.561. The official WhatsApp website now has v2.12.7 (versions before v2.11.561 failed to enable WhatsApp voice calls for us reliably, whereas v2.11.561 has worked first try on several devices, as has v2.12.7).

You’ll need to enable Unknown Sources in your Security settings first and get a call from someone you know that already has the WhatsApp voice calling feature enabled. You'll then see three tabs at the top of your WhatsApp interface: calls, chats and contacts.

The calls tab will show you a detailed call log and in any chat with a WhatsApp contact you'll find that the dialer icon at the top now makes calls direct via WhatsApp and not the regular dialer. We've tested the latest version with several phones and they all worked first try, so it looks like the wait is finally over and WhatsApp voice calls are here for everyone. Still, there's no need to wait for the right version to hit the Play Store is there?

How to enable Whats App voice calls (with root)

In case none of this is still working for you, there is another way for rooted users to force the feature onto their phones, but it is a bit of a pain, as you’ll need to be connected to your PC and open a terminal every time you want to WhatsApp call someone (until it is enabled permanently for you).  Read More.....

Microsoft is testing a Windows 10 ROM that can wipe Android from phones

10:06:00 PM     Android, windows 10, windows app     No comments

It's safe to assume that many Android fans may also be fans of Microsoft Windows fans, too. They might also be smug in the knowledge that Microsoft on mobile devices is of little threat to Android's dominance. However, Microsoft has a new trick up its sleeve - it's testing out a Windows 10 ROM in China which runs on Android devices.
In an announcement about Windows 10, Microsoft said that it is testing the Windows 10 ROM on a small group of "power users" who own the Xiaomi Mi4 - which is an Android device. Sources speaking with Tech Crunch said that the ROM will effectively work like Cyanogenmod, and replace Android and all its services with Windows 10 and all it offers.

China is a country fond of installing custom ROMs on mobile devices, making it a good location for Microsoft to test its Trojan-Horse-like strategy to convert Android users from within their own phones. Microsoft hopes that letting people casually install Windows 10 on their Android devices will open more people up to the OS.

No release date has been set for the Windows 10 ROM, but Microsoft said that "availability will be announced in the months to come". If other custom ROMs are anything to go by, Windows 10 will probably be free for mobile devices, with Microsoft aiming to profit from people using the Windows Store, Office 365 suite, and other services. Galaxy S6 vs Nexus 6 comparison: Samsung and Google

10:44:00 PM     Android, nexus 6, samsung galaxy s6     No comments

The Samsung Galaxy S6 was finally revealed to us at MWC 2015 after months of speculation. With a beautiful screen, unparalleled camera technology and a slick design, Samsung came out all-guns blazing with its new flagship. But how does it compare to Google's QHD giant of the moment, theGoogle Nexus 6? Find out in our Galaxy S6 vs Nexus 6 comparison.

Samsung Galaxy S6 vs Google Nexus 6: Design

The Nexus 6, developed by Motorola, adopted the design of the Moto X (2014), featuring a similar body and button/speaker placement. The device is surrounded by an aluminum frame, with the front made entirely of glass and the rear featuring slightly curved polycarbonate. It's a well thought-out design and is easier to hold than might be expected for a 6-inch phablet.

Samsung has gone all-out with the design of its S6, featuring luxurious glass front and back plates, sealed in with aluminium edges. It builds upon the impressive Galaxy Note 4 design and completely outshines that of the Galaxy S5. Samsung has clearly been listening to consumers and this sleek handset shows a new commitment to producing quality designs at the high-end.

Samsung Galaxy S6 vs Google Nexus 6: Display

The Nexus 6 offers a 5.96-inch display with QHD (2560x1440 pixels) resolution and 493 ppi. It's bold, without getting in your face; colors look realistic, but never aggressive. The Galaxy S6's Super AMOLED display also boasts QHD resolution, but only with a 5.1-inch screen.
The Galaxy S6 obviously can't compete with the display area of the Nexus 6, which is almost an inch bigger, but the S6 is certainly the stronger performer. Bright, pin-sharp, impossibly detailed - it's one of the best to arrive on the Android platform, if not the best.

Samsung Galaxy S6 vs Google Nexus 6: Software

The Nexus 6 was the first smartphone to come with Android 5.0 Lollipop. Because it's a Google device, the Nexus 6 runs the stock version of the software. This is the pure Android experience.
The Galaxy S6 features Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with Samsung's own TouchWiz interface placed on top. Samsung claimed that the new OS would not come with the avalanche of apps usually pre-installed on Galaxy S-branded devices, but it still features a bunch. Having said that, the new UI is an improvement, it's faster and more intuitive, with some updated animations and effects.

Samsung Galaxy S6 vs Google Nexus 6: Performance

During our time with it, the Nexus 6 has always been fluid and responsive. Apps start quickly, animations never lag and gaming is a real pleasure thanks to its Snapdragon 805 quad-core 2.7 GHz processor, backed by 3 GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 features a latest Exynos 7420 octa-core 64-bit chipset, supported by 3 GB of RAM. We've only had a brief opportunity to experience its performance so far, but we anticipate it will be one of the best performers on Android. It's worth pointing out that neither device comes with expandable memory via a microSD slot.

Samsung Galaxy S6 vs Google Nexus 6: Camera

The Nexus 6 offers a 13 MP main camera which produces quality snaps, even if the auto-focus can be hit-or-miss (though overall camera quality is a vast improvement over the Nexus 5). The Nexus 6 also features an adequate 2 MP front-facing camera.

The Galaxy S6 has a 16 MP rear-camera, which provides brilliantly sharp images even in low-light conditions thanks to an f / 1.9 aperture, and some smart Samsung image processing. You can usually rely on Samsung to deliver on display and camera quality, and it has proved itself once again. A 5 MP front-camera ensures selfie fans will be satisfied, also.

Samsung Galaxy S6 vs Google Nexus 6: Battery

The 3,220mAh battery built into the Nexus 6 delivers strong performance. We recently put it to the test by taking pictures, playing video and music files, checking emails and posting content on Facebook, and it provided us with a total of 27 hours, with 17 percent charge remaining.

The Galaxy S6 is powered by a 15pxer, 2550 mAh battery, though it can charge wirelessly like the Nexus 6 can. The S6 is also said to deliver four hours of battery life in just a 10 minute charge, but we haven't yet been able to fully test the S6's battery capabilities. For that we'll have to wait until our final review.

How to install WhatsApp on your PC

3:26:00 AM     Android, whatsapp     No comments

WhatsApp is the bread and butter of instant messaging nowadays. It's backed by Facebook and hundreds of millions of users. But how do I get it on PC? Read on for two tutorials on how to install WhatsApp on your PC.

How to install WhatsApp using the official Chrome web-client

This is the easiest solution, as WhatsApp has developed an official web-client for this purpose.

Go to web.whatsapp.com on your PC and scan the QR code with your phone (using QR code reader or a similar app), then follow the installation instructions. This provides you with all of the regular WhatsApp functionality, like voice and picture messaging, but there is a caveat. The WhatsApp web-client acts as a "mirror" for your device, meaning you will only receive messages on WhatsApp web if you receive it on your phone also. Your device has to be switched on, and connected to the internet, to use the web-client.

The above method will work for anybody running a Windows machine, with WhatsApp on their smartphone, and using Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Chrome. If, for whatever reason, the above solution doesn't do it for you, there is another way to get WhatsApp on PC. We would strongly advise the above method first though.

How to install WhatsApp using BlueStacks

This process takes about ten minutes and involves installing an Android emulator known as BlueStacks. This program will replicate you Android smartphone on your computer and it can be installed from Google Play.

IMPORTANT:

When you activate WhatsApp on your computer using this method, the account on your smartphone will be deactivated, as it only allows one account per device.
BlueStacks is an English-only application, so if you are using a different language, make sure that you do not use characters/letters which aren’t found in the English alphabet.
  1. Download and install BlueStacks.
  1. When you open the program you will see a search icon in the top left hand side which you will use to search for WhatsApp (or just click the WhatsApp icon if it is there when it loads).

  1. In order to search for the application, BlueStacks requires two configuration steps. For this reason, it will open a window called One Time Setup. Follow the instructions until you see the message.
  1. After you are finished this process, Google Play will automatically open. Now you’ll need to insert the information from your account.
  1. Once you are in Google Play, it’s the same old steps: search and install WhatsApp.

  1. Finally you simply need to set up your account in the application and indicate your phone number and country, after which you will receive a verification code of
6 digits on your phone. This code then needs to be entered into the verification box.
